KYA KOOL HAI HUM is one sequel which won't have a '2' suffixed to it. Ekta Kapoor has decided that her sequel to Tusshar Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh starrer hit adult comedy would be called KYAA SUPER KOOL HAI HUM. Needless to say, the male leads stay on to be just the same though leading ladies would be different.

'There has been an advent of sequels of late and each of them has a '2' or a '3' attached to them. Starting with DON 2 and especially in 2012 there would be more than half a dozen sequels like JANNAT 2, HOUSEFULL 2, RAAZ 3 and DHOOM 3 that would be arriving one after another. She wanted her film to sound different and hence KYA KOOL HAI HUM 2 has also been rechristened KYA SUPER KOOL HAI HUM now. It has to be seen whether ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI 2 also goes through a change in title soon,' says a source close to Ekta.
While the cast is quite supportive of the new title, the makers are also planning to bring the film right at the beginning of IPL 2012. When most movies have shied away from arriving anywhere in the vicinity of the cricket season, KYA SUPER KOOL HAI HUM has put together it's strategy in place by braving the cricket season after doing all the calculations.
To be directed by Sachin Yardi, KYA SUPER KOOL HAI HUM would be releasing on 6th April, the same weekend in which IPL kick-starts.
