Lee Westwood fought off a fine charge from American Phil Mickelson to hold the lead after an enthralling third round of the Masters at Augusta.Westwood hit a tidy 68 to hold the overall lead at 12 under par but Ian Poulter (74) slipped off the pace.
Mickelson ended up second after a five-under 67 but looked at one stage to be heading for the round of the tournament after consecutive eagles at 13 and 14.
Tiger Woods hit another 70 for a share of third alongside Korean KJ Choi.
