About 1,000 small animals are believed to have been killed in a fire in Devon.Firefighters from Devon and Cornwall and police were called to Little Cholwell at Dippertown, near Okehampton, at about 0030 BST.
Four sheds in a 66ft by 66ft (20m by 20m) area used to house small mammals, including guinea pigs, were completely destroyed, police said.
Two vans and two cars were also damaged. The cause of the fire is being investigated, the fire service said.
