A bomb has exploded inside a hospital in the south-west Pakistani city of Quetta, police say.The number of casualties was not immediately clear but local television footage showed wounded people being carried from the scene of the blast.
There are unconfirmed reports that the explosion was the result of a suicide attack.
An unnamed official quoted by Reuters news agency said the blast happened in the hospital's emergency ward.
