A 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death outside a birthday party in Croydon early on Sunday.Police said the victim was not a guest at the party, which was being held at Croydon Sports Arena, Albert Road at 0018 BST.
They said a 15-year-old youth was arrested nearby on suspicion of murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
A post-mortem examination on the victim, who has not been named, was taking place later, police added.
