
An average audience of 4m people tuned in to watch Thursday night's Sky News leaders' debate, according to early overnight figures.Ratings for the showdown were well down on last week's ITV1 debate, which attracted an average 9.4m viewers.
Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg and Conservative leader David Cameron used the debate to discuss their manifestos.
The third and final debate is scheduled for next Thursday on BBC One.
