
The Duke of Edinburgh has suffered a "minor injury" to his ankle during an accident at the Royal's Windsor estate, Buckingham Palace has said.Prince Philip was hurt when the ponies attached to his carriage ran away.
His injury comes a few weeks after his daughter-in-law, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, fractured her leg while hill-walking in Scotland.
Philip, 89, was hurt after his carriage hit a tree stump but did not need hospital treatment.
The prince was set to attend a dinner in Bray in Berkshire on Saturday.
A spokeswoman said: "The duke has a minor injury to his ankle and did not need hospital treatment. He has been out and about as normal this afternoon."
