    Campaign tackles jobs and justice

Election campaigning in Scotland is taking on a jobs and justice theme, as the fight for votes continues ahead of polling day on 6 May.Chancellor Alistair Darling is delivering Labour's economic message, and SNP leader Alex Salmond is in Falkirk to back local businesses.

Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Tavish Scott is focusing on green jobs and a sustainable economy.

Senior Tory Francis Maude will say his party is committed to law and order.

Ahead of his campaign visit to call centre business HEROtsc in Falkirk, Scottish First Minister Mr Salmond said: "HEROtsc is a great Scottish success story - and a major employer with operations across Scotland.

"Creating and supporting jobs is at the heart of the SNP's manifesto - we're working to enable more businesses like HEROtsc to flourish in Scotland."

Mr Scott is visiting the tidal power unit of energy outfit Rotech in Aberdeen, to campaign for a more sustainable green economy.

In East Renfrewshire, Mr Maude will say the Conservatives' commitment to law and order, an issue devolved to Scotland, has seen the delivery of 1,000 more police officers on the streets of Scotland. This article is from the BBC News website. ?
