    A man who admitted sparking widespread disruption in Aberdeen by making hoax bomb threats in a failed bid to delay a court case has been jailed.Colin Pirie, 27, admitted placing a package opposite the procurator fiscal's office and making phone calls claiming there was a bomb.

    Part of the city centre was cordoned off and road and rail traffic disrupted for several hours on 21 January.

    Pirie was jailed for three years at the High Court in Aberdeen.
