
A teenager arrested after a double stabbing in which a man died and a woman was seriously hurt has been released on bail.The 46-year-old man died at the scene in Sherwood Avenue, St Albans, Herts, on Friday, while a 53-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries.
She was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.
Hertfordshire Police said an 18-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder was released on bail.
Det Supt Michael Hanlon, from the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: "Local officers and Police Community Support Officers are in the vicinity speaking with residents and I would like to reassure the local community that this is an isolated incident.
"We are not looking for anyone else in connection with the inquiry."
