Guests at a large Victorian hotel in the centre of Harrogate have had to leave the building after fire broke out in the early hours of Wednesday.North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the Majestic Hotel on Springfield Avenue just after 0500 BST.
The listed Victorian building has 170 bedrooms. Fire crews said all the guests had been accounted for.
It is thought the blaze may have started in one of the top floor bedrooms, crews said.
