The National Trust for Scotland (NTS) is to hold its annual general meeting in Glasgow, the first since a review called for a radical overhaul of the operation.
Members are expected to endorse a report which called for a new board, fewer trustees and a full audit of the properties it runs.
The trust has been badly hit by the recession and falling visitor numbers.
It employs more than 400 permanent staff and 755 seasonal staff.
The AGM is the first since the former Holyrood presiding officer, George Reid, completed his review of the workings of the trust.
In it he called for a new board and a new mission statement, suggesting cutting the number of trustees from 87 to 15 and called for a full audit of properties and a five-year strategic plan.
The chief executive Kate Mavor said she guaranteed no properties would close - but they had to consider whether other organisations might run them.
