Nine people have been injured after an accident involving a bus in the centre of Caernarfon in Gwynedd.
North Wales Police said a bus hit a wall on Lôn Penllyn, a main route into the town, at around 1000 BST on Monday.
It is thought the driver may have suffered a heart attack. Eight passengers were injured.
The road is not expected to reopen until 1400 BST, and police are appealing for witnesses, especially a woman driver who gave first aid.
Hospital
The driver police want to speak to was in a car travelling behind the bus.
The service is run by Padarnbus, a family business operating for over 25 years, providing services mainly in the north Wales area.
John Major, director of communications, Confederation of Passenger Transport UK, the trade association for the bus and coach industry said the accident involved the S4 bus from Beddgelert to Caernarfon.
He said the 46-year-old driver had been taken to hospital.
"Early reports are that he had suffered a heart attack, although this remains unconfirmed.
"His family has been informed," he added.
A spokesperson for Ysbyty Gwynedd hospital in Bangor said nine casualties had reached them.
