A man has been charged with attempted murder, rape and abduction of a woman at a house in Livingston.
John McKeown, 22, from Livingston, was also charged with breach of the peace and assault, when he appeared at Livingston Sheriff Court.
It follows an alleged attack on a 39-year-old in a house in Oakwood Drive in the early hours of Saturday.
Mr McKeown made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody. He is due to appear again on 18 November.
