</span>A seven-year-old boy suffered serious leg injuries when he was struck by a tram in south London.
The incident happened at about 0800 GMT at Fieldway tram stop in Lodge Lane, Addington, in Croydon.
He has since been taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening and he is in a stable condition.
British Transport Police (BTP) said: "At this stage this appears to have been an accident."
Tramlink services between Addington Village and New Addington have been suspended as investigations continue, Transport for London said.
A BTP spokesman said: "BTP can confirm that a seven-year-old boy was injured after being struck by a tram at Fieldway tram stop, Lodge Lane in Addington on Monday 15 November.
"The incident was reported to police at 8.04am and is currently being treated as non-suspicious.
"He is currently at St George's Hospital in Tooting, along with his family. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening at this time."
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "One ambulance, two responders in cars, a duty officer and the Surrey air ambulance attended.
"Staff treated the patient and [he] was taken as a priority to St George with serious injuries."
