First Minister Carwyn Jones has sent congratulations from Wales to Prince William and Kate Middleton on their marriage plans.
He also welcomed their intention to live in north Wales after the wedding next spring or summer.

The couple became engaged last month during a private holiday in Africa.
Mr Jones said in a statement: "Congratulations to Prince William and Kate Middleton on their engagement.
"I'm very pleased to hear that they plan to begin their married life in north Wales.
"I am sure that I speak for the people of Wales in wishing them the best for their future happiness."
William, who is 28, like his bride-to-be, has graduated as a search and rescue pilot at RAF Valley, where he is spending about three years.
During training, he took part in a number of simulated rescue missions over the Irish Sea and the Atlantic, and in the mountains of Snowdonia.
The 28-year-old prince is initially spending his time at Valley as a co-pilot in a crew of four Sea King Helicopters.
The Lord Lieutenant of Gwynedd, Huw Morgan Daniel, who is the Queen's representative in Gwynedd and Anglesey, said he was "delighted" by the announcement of the engagement.
Councillor Selwyn Williams, chair of Anglesey council, also passed on his congratulations.
He said: "We would like to congratulate the prince and Kate Middleton on their engagement.
"This is wonderful news and we are of course delighted that they have decided to live here in north Wales following their wedding.
"It's fantastic that they are enjoying the beauty, heritage and culture of Anglesey and that they want to be part of it.
"It's also very good news for the island in terms of raising our profile as a tourist destination.
"I hope that we become a must-visit destination as many more recognise all we have to offer visitors."
