A 48-year-old man has been found dead after a suspected attempted robbery at a store in north Birmingham.
Officers found the man with stab wounds in Select Convenience Store, College Road, Kingstanding, at 2150 GMT on Saturday.
Four men were seen running out of the shop, also known as Haresh Superstore, in the direction of Dovedale road.
A man and a woman in their 20s from the Sutton Coldfield area have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The arrests were made at 0700 GMT on Sunday near the border of Sutton Coldfield and Kingstanding.
Forensic officers have been in attendance.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course, West Midlands Police said.
