A woman in her 50s and her teenage daughter have been taken to hospital after a suspected gas explosion at a house in Suffolk.
The explosion was at 0745 GMT in Chapel Road, Wrentham, near Southwold. It tore off the roof and destroyed the bedrooms.
The next door house was also badly damaged by fire and nearby properties were evacuated.
The woman and her daughter were taken to hospital with serious burns.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue service said both houses were unsafe.
A district emergency planning officer and gas engineers are at the scene.
Fire crews are now damping down.
