A man has been charged with murder after a body was found at a flat in Scarborough, police have said.
The body of 48-year-old Martin Virr was found in his ground floor flat in the Eastborough area of the town last Thursday night.
A 51-year-old man was charged with his murder on Sunday evening and was due to appear before Scarborough Magistrates' Court on Monday.
An inquest into Mr Virr's death is due to open and adjourn later this week.
