Police have said a sectarian motive is one line of enquiry into two petrol bomb attacks in a County Londonderry village.
A car belonging to a Catholic family was burnt out in the Killyvalley Park area of Garvagh. It was reported to police at about 0200 GMT on Saturday.
A house belonging to a couple in a mixed marriage was also scorch damaged in the same area overnight.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
John Dallat SDLP MLA for the area believes the attacks were sectarian.
"There is no reason in the world why these people should be attacked other than what religion they were born into."
DUP MLA Adrian McQuillan said Catholics and Protestants had lived together on the Killyvalley estate since it was built.
"It is not a sectarian estate in any way, shape or fashion which is why what happened last night is so shocking."
