Four men who died in an industrial accident in Norfolk are from Suffolk, police have said.
The men suffered fatal injuries at Claxton Engineering in Great Yarmouth on Friday afternoon.
Police said the men were aged between 26 and 42 and from the Bury St Edmunds area. Specialist officers are with their families.
The Heath And Safety Executive and Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team are at the site.
The BBC understands that a steel structure tipped or fell onto the men.
Post-mortem tests In a statement, Claxton Engineering Services Limited said building work was being carried out at their premises by external contractors.
It added: "Everybody at Claxton is deeply saddened by what has occurred... and the company's thoughts and sympathy are with the families of the four men."
Police, ambulances and nine fire crews including urban search and rescue units attended at about 1420 GMT but the men died at the scene.
Det Ch Insp Neil Luckett said: "This is a complex investigation and our enquiries - including assessments at the site - are likely to continue for several weeks.
"We will not be drawn into conjecture on the nature of the incident.
"The aim of our investigation is to establish the full circumstances around what happened on the site yesterday.
"This is a distressing time for the families of those who sadly lost their lives and our thoughts go out to them."
Post-mortem examinations to determine the cause of death will take place on Monday, police said.
The Great Yarmouth-based company Claxton provides engineering services to the offshore drilling industry.
It was founded in 1985 and has offices in Aberdeen and Dubai.
