Panaji, Apr 26 (PTI) Churchill Brothers are aiming to top the Group B as they embark today for Kuwait to play their last league match of the AFC Cup football against Kuwait SC on April 28. Churchill, who has been inconsistent in the I-League, now want to put aside their past and is looking to keep their good show in the AFC Cup going as they play their last match against Kuwait SC. Churchill, who drew at home against Kuwait SC, is leading the table with seven points with two wins and a draw.
They now require a draw against second placed Kuwait SC to top the group which will give them the advantage of playing at home their pre-quarterfinal match. Kuwait SC, who gave some torrid time to Churchill in the second half at home match, eventually found the equaliser in the dying minutes.
Churchill will have a tough time in contending them in the absence of big gun Odafe Okolie who will not play due to double booking. .
