New Delhi, May 29 (PTI) Indian challenge ended at the ITF Asian Junior Tennis Championship after Vaidik Munshaw and Rishika Sunkara lost their semifinal matches in the boys'' and girls'' singles here today. Sixth seed Munshaw went down 5-7 3-6 to second seed Bowen Ouyang of China while seventh seed Rishika Sunkara lost to ninth seed Miho Kowase of Japan 3-6 3-6 at the DLTA complex here.
In the other boys'' semi-final, top seed Chuhan Wang of China registered a 6-4 6-4 victory over eighth seed Warit Sornbutnark of Thailand to sail into the final of the event. The victory meant the boys'' singles final will be an all-Chinese affair and between the top two seeds in the tournament.
In the girls'' event final, Kowase will take on second seed Ran Tian of China tomorrow. Results: Boys'' semifinal: Bowen Ouyang [CHN] beat Vaidik Munshaw [IND] 7-5 6-3 Chuhan Wang [CHN] beat Warit Sornbutnark [THA] 6-4 6-4.
Girls'' semifinal: Miho Kowase [JPN] beat Rishika Sunkara [IND] 6-3 6-3 Ran Tian [CHN] beat Lin Zhu [CHN] 6-3 6- 2.
