Jamshedpur, June 20 (PTI) An indoor cricket facility of international standard will be inaugurated in Ranchi on July 14, Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) said today. With the new facility coming up, cricketers will no longer lose out on valuable practice during the monsoon months of July, August and September, said JSCA secretary Rajesh Verma here.
BCCI president Shashank Manohar and secretary N Srinivasan will be present at the function which will see Jharkhand Governor M O H Farook inaugurating the facility. The complex will eventually comprise an international standard cricket stadium equipped with comprehensive ICC mandated facilities, another cricket ground of international specifications, Verma said.
The construction work at the complex commenced about a year ago.
