Dambulla, June 20 -- As the dust settled down at the Rangiri Dambulla after a tense India-Pakistan match, the Indian players spent a lazy afternoon on Sunday. A few on-field incidents on Saturday had cast a shadow on three Indian players.
Virender Sehwag was seen hobbling, grabbing his back, while his opening partner Gautam Gambhir and Harbhajan Singh were involved in verbal jousts with Pakistani players. It was learnt on Sunday that Sehwag had suffered a side strain and team manager Ranjib Biswal told HT: "Sehwag is being taken care of by physio Nitin Patel.
It's more of a side strain and we will take a call on his fitness tomorrow afternoon." Four players - Gambhir, Harbhajan, Kamran Akmal and Shoaib Akhtar - were summoned by match referee Andy Pycroft on Saturday.
