Boxing coaches Bhagwant Singh and Om Prakash will accompany the team while JD Singh will be the manager of the team.

Meanwhile, Dr CK Jerath, secretary, CABA and vice-president, IBF, said the decision of IBF to make the participation of all the international boxers in the senior national championship this year will only boost young boxers.

"The recent IBF's decision to make it mandatory for all the boxers to take part in the national championship is commendable. It will only promote more and more young boxers to take part in the national championship where they can fight with their role-models. It is very good for the sport that all the boxers will take part in the championship," said Jerath.

Jerath also lauded IBF's decision to review the core group of boxers and to add more names in it after the national championships.

"It is a very good step. Youngsters need such kind of boost and the introduction of prize money in the championship will also do good for the boxers. Youngsters need support early in their career and it will do good for them and their families," said Jerath.
