Miroslav Klose, who needs one goal to equal Ronaldo's all-time World Cup record of 15, was left out of Germany's starting lineup for Saturday's third place playoff against Uruguay.

    Klose has been suffering from flu and joins fellow illness victims Lukas Podolski and captain Philipp Lahm on the sidelines.
