Coimbatore, Jul 14 (PTI) The second round of the 13th edition of J K Tyre National Racing Championship, India''s premier motorsport event, will be held here from July 17. The significant boost to the two-day championship, will be the introduction of the Volkswagen-JK Tyre Polo Cup India, which made its debut in the country in the current JK Tyre National Racing Championship season, with the first round being held in Pune in May last.
Also making its debut is the relaunched Formula Rolon Class. For the qualifying rounds, one race each in Formula LGB Swift and Super Saloon class has been scheduled on the first day, while the next day would feature two races each in the Formula Rolon and Polo Classes and one race each in the Formula Swift and Super Saloon Classes, a press release said.
The notable teams on the grid on the 2.1 KM long Kari Motor Track would be Amaron Pro Racing, Meco Racing, Rams Racing, Mars Racing, VA-RAD racing, TEAM TVS and Team Wallace Sports, it said.
