World recond holder and Olympic 110 metres hurdles champion Dayron Robles has pulled out of Friday's Diamond League meet in Paris due to tired legs, his trainer said on Wednesday.Santiago Antunez said the Cuban needed to rest after participating in meets throughout Europe.
"He doesn't have any type of injury. He still hasn't recovered from the race in Lausanne (last week) and his legs are a little tired," he told Reuters by telephone from their training base in Guadalajara, Spain.
The 23-year-old had a light workout on Wednesday that included relaxation exercises and stretching, Antunez said.
Robles has yet to decide if he will run in a July 22 meet in Monaco.
"It will depend on how Dayron feels," Antunez said.
Robles will return to Cuba at the end of July to spend a week with his family, then return to Europe to compete in the Aug. 13-14 Diamond League meet in London.
