    Trickett keen to test fitness

The 25-year-old, who retired late last year before announcing her comeback in September, will be in action in a new four-team Sydney event in January.

Alicia Coutts, who won five Commonwealth Games golds in Delhi, Emily Seebohm, Leisel Jones and Jess Schipper will also compete in the Summer Swim Series.

"I have no idea how fit I'm going to be in January and I'll have just come back from Mexico from altitude training so chances are I'm going to be absolutely exhausted and jet-lagged," Trickett said on Tuesday.

"But it provides for exciting challenges, mentally and physically."

The swimmer is eyeing a place in the Australian squad for the 2012 London Olympics but does not want to put too much pressure on herself.

"For me I just want to be a part of the Australian swim team again. That's the big goal at the moment and other than that I just want to see how fast I can get, how fit I can get and how strong I can get."
