The buzz around a hypothetical clash between India and Pakistan in the World Cup semifinal at Mohali has gathered pace but Pakistan coach Waqar Younis said that he has no preference for any specific opponent.
“We will watch the quarterfinal between India and Australia closely and we have got a long break now before we play in Mohali (March 30) and we will make our plans. I have no preference for a particular team. As long as we play according to our plans and do well, I am more than happy. We had a good victory today and I would be happy with another easy victory,” Younis said here on Wednesday.
The former Pakistan spearhead said that matches between India and Pakistan are huge in terms of atmosphere and emotion but added: “One should take it easy. The love that cricket evokes in India and Pakistan is huge and games between the two countries are big. On the one hand you have the Ashes and on the other hand you have games between India and Pakistan.
