Virender Sehwag and David Warner smashed 77 runs each as Delhi Daredevils recorded the first 200-plus total in this season's Indian Premier League for a 29-run win over Kings XI Punjab on Saturday.
Sehwag and man-of-the-match Warner put on 146 for the opening wicket from only 11.4 overs. Daredevils finished with the Twenty20 competition's third highest total of 231-4 after being put in to bat.
Shaun Marsh hit a 46-ball 95 for Kings XI but the target was too much for the visitors who had won its previous three matches to emerge among the front runners in the 10-team competition.
Kings XI finished at 202-6 off 20 overs.
It was Daredevils' second win of the season.
