Mumbai, Apr 30 (PTI) Mumbai Hockey Association (MHA) would be hosting the under-17 national hockey championships at the Mahindra Stadium here from May 27-June 8.
A media release from MHA, which is affiliated to the Indian Hockey Federation (IHF), said that players born on or after January 1, 1994 are eligible to take part in the tournament.
Meanwhile, MHA has felicitated the victorious Mumbai team for regaining the national hockey championship for the Rangaswami Cup after 22 years by winning the title at Bhopal in July last.
The players and the support staff were given Rs 10,000 each as a token of appreciation by the association, the release added.
