Rome, May 16 (ANI): Australian tennis legend Ken Rosewall is in good condition after being admitted to the stroke unit of a Rome hospital.
He might be kept under observation for 10 days after "suffering a suspected disturbance of the brain circuit," The Age quoted emergency room doctors, as saying.
His wife, Wilma, said doctors told her that he had not suffered any heart or brain damage but would be kept under observation until he was well enough to fly back to Australia.
Rosewall, 76, was invited to Rome during the Masters tournament to receive a golden racquet, given annually to former tennis greats.
Ken's wife Wilma collected the award on Saturday night in his absence.
Rosewall has won 132 singles titles during his career, including four Australian Opens. (ANI)
