    HONG KONG (AP) — The International Cricket Council has rescinded its decision on the number of teams at the 2015 World Cup, ruling that 14 countries instead of 10 will compete at the sport's showpiece event.

    The ICC board decided last October that the 50-over World Cup would comprise 10 teams and the World Twenty20 16 teams.

    However, cricket's governing body also ruled Tuesday at an executive meeting in Hong Kong that the World Twenty20 tournaments in 2012 and 2014 will feature 12 teams.
