SHANGHAI (AP) — Natalia Ishchenko of Russia won her third gold medal in synchronized swimming at the world aquatic championships, finishing first in the free solo routine Wednesday at the Oriental Sports Complex.
Ishchenko finished with 98.550 points. Andrea Fuentes of Spain took the silver with 96.520 and China's Sun Wenyan earned the bronze with 95.840 points.
Russia won the team technical competition Tuesday. On Monday, Ishchenko teamed with Svetlana Romashina to win the duet technical final a night after taking the technical solo gold.
