SHANGHAI (AP) — Qiu Bo and Zhou Luxin of China were the leading qualifiers going into the semifinals of men's 10-meter platform diving at the world championships, with American Nick McCrory in third place.
Qiu finished with 562.20 points Saturday, while Zhou had 528.85 in the seven-dive first round. McCrory had 509.00.
The top 18 advanced to the semifinals later Saturday.
Chinese divers have won all eight diving events so far. The women's 3-meter final was later Saturday, with the men's 10-meter concluding the program Sunday.
