Nottingham (UK), Aug 1 (ANI): Christmas is still five months away but cricket fans in Nottingham were spotted in a festive mood with locals dressed like comic book superheroes.
They dressed in all sorts of fancy dress attire and thronged the Trent Bridge stadium to watch the third day's play between India and England on Sunday.
"Of course that is what we are here for good times and hopefully see England bat...," said Adam, a cricket fan.
"Well traditionally on a Sunday it is always been a fancy dress day but you will see most of the games are happening now people dress up pretty much everyday but it is a historical thing on a Sunday," said Sanjiv, another cricket fan.
Among the costumes on show were selections of superheroes including Batman, Spider-Man and Captain America.
Indian fans also turned up in large numbers wearing Team India's t-shirts and women in their traditional attire wearing, sarees. By Praful Kumar Singh(ANI)
