Chandigarh, Oct 28 : Punjab will take on Tamil Nadu on their home turf at Dhruv Pandove Cricket Stadium in Patiala in a four-day league match of the on going Col.C.K. Nayudu Trophy.
Both teams have so far played two matches each with Punjab logging eight points by defeating Rajasthan outright and garnering five points while against Maharashtra at Pune they logged three points by snatching first innings lead against them.
Tamil Nadu on the other hand has 11 points under their belt with outright wins against Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Punjab need to win this game at least on first innings lead to stay afloat in the tournament. Punjab are being led by Kunwar Raina. The match will start at 9.30 a.m.
