Google is set to announce some new search technology Tuesday at an event in San Francisco, and we'll be there to cover it live.
The search giant sprung a surprise on company watchers last week, inviting journalists and analysts to an "Inside Search" event. The company didn't disclose what it intends to discuss, but it did say that Amit Singhal, a Google Fellow who works on information retrieval, will present along with others.

Singhal and the others, the invitation read, "will take you through an under the hood look at Google Search, share our vision and demo some of our newest technology and features."
Last September--the last time Google hosted a similar event--it launched Google Instant, the search feature that updates results as users type queries.
To follow this event, bookmark this page and come back tomorrow morning. You can also type your email in the Cover It Live box below to get a reminder when the event begins.
And if you plan to watch the live blog on amobile browser, make sure you have JavaScript enabled. On iOS you can find that toggle in Settings >Safari. OnAndroid, the setting can be toggled within the native browser's settings menu.
