A Riverside County man has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to rape a 29-year-old woman found unconscious on the floor of her apartment.
Deputies found Jonathan Rossman, 28, with the women's wallet and other items as he was leaving the apartment, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said Wednesday.
The 29-year-old woman was in the hospital Wednesday recovering from her injuries, authorities said.
Rossman, who lives in La Quinta, was booked into jail and being held in lieu of $1,000,000 bail.
