Lib Dem MP David Laws should be suspended from the Commons for seven days over his expenses claims, the Commons standards watchdog says.
The former Chief Secretary to the Treasury was found to have breached Commons rules when he claimed expenses to pay rent to his partner.
At the time the MP apologised, paid back more than £50,000 and said he had acted to protect his privacy.
But he was found to have committed "serious breaches" of expenses rules.
