A 28-year-old man has admitted blackmailing Coleen Rooney, the wife of Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.
Lee Platt, of Manchester, who also admitted handling a stolen camera, will be sentenced at a later date at Manchester Crown Court.
Mrs Rooney lost her mobile phone, thought to have contained family photographs, at a concert last year.
Jennifer Green, 25, and Steven Malcolm, 42, both from Manchester, denied the same charges.
It is understood that Mrs Rooney accidentally left her phone at the Manchester Evening News Arena when she attended a concert by the Black Eyed Peas last May.
Mrs Rooney was allegedly later contacted with a request for money to have the phone returned.
