A police officer has been injured after a device was thrown at him and a number of colleagues as they responded to an alarm call at business premises in Newtownabbey, County Antrim.
The attack happened near Toys R Us on the Mill Road at about 00:30 BST.
The police officer's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Two members of staff who also attended the alarm call were treated for shock.
