A man was seriously injured when he fell into a hole on a housing development in Oxfordshire.
The man, in his 60s, fell 12ft (3.5m) into the excavation on the Great Western Park site in Didcot.
Two fire crews and a specialist rescue team were called to the site at about 16:00 BST on Friday.
Fire and ambulance crews treated the man at the bottom of the hole. He sustained suspected serious spinal injuries in the fall.
He was lifted to safety and taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment.
