Musharaf denies he knew Laden was hiding in Pak
Pakistan’s former military ruler General Pervez Musharraf has said that he is “100 per cent” sure that he had no knowledge about the presence of Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden near Islamabad.
In an interview to Israeli daily Ha'aretz, Musharraf said he was sure about himself that he did not know he (Osama) was there in Pakistan. Meawhile, a report from Karachi quoted Musharraf as saying on Sunday that he is not scared and announced that he will return home later this month to launch his political career despite facing threats of arrest in the Benazir Bhutto assassination case.
