US to re-establish Peace Corps Volunteers’ office in Nepal
The US has decided to re-establish the Peace Corps volunteers programme in Nepal after a gap of seven years. The move came a month after US last month lifted travel warning to its citizens visiting Nepal in the wake of the improved law and order situation in the country
An inter-agency agreement in this regard was signed by Peace Corps Director Aaron S Williams and US Agency for International Development (USAID) Assistant Administrator for Asia Nisha Biswal in Washington yesterday, US Embassy in Kathmandu said in a statement.
