‘Journalist hacked Paul McCartney voice mail’
Paul McCartney’s ex-wife Heather Mills has testified to British inquiry that messages left by former Beatle asking for forgiveness over their argument on her India trip in 2001, were hacked by a journalist. Rubbishing suggestions that she leaked the information to the journalists herself, Mills said that her then boyfriend McCartney left about 25 voice messages, all asking for forgiveness. They had a fight over her planned trip for India. Mills said the voicemails did not show up as new, but rather saved, when she checked them. She later received a phone call from a journalist of Trinity Mirror, the parent company of Daily Mirror. The journalist had heard the messages, CNN reported.
