B’desh ruling party mp quits from parliament
Bangladesh ruling Awami League’s high-profile lawmaker Tanjim Ahmed, also known as Sohel Taj, on Monday resigned from parliament nearly three years after he had ‘resigned’ as a junior minister for home. “We have received the resignation letter of Sohel Taj MP (and) it will be placed before the speaker,” Acting Secretary of the Parliament Secretariat Mahfuzur Rahman told reporters.
