By dawn, winds may start to ease a little inland, with some clear spells in the east./p#13; pNRW said with the weather conditions expected to continue on Saturday evening into Sunday, combined with the high tides, there could cause localised flooding with sea spray and overtopping particularly Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and the Newport coast./p#13; pTen flood warnings were in place at 15:30 GMT for: Tidal areas at Penrhyn Bay, Llanddulas and Kinmel Bay in Conwy; Borth, Clarach Bay and Aberystwyth in Ceredigion; Newgale and Dale in Pembrokeshire, Penclawdd in Swansea, Newton and Porthcawl in Bridgend county./p#13; pThere were also alerts from Swansea Bay, Gower and the Carmarthenshire coast./p#13; #13; pOfficers from a href=http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/homeandleisure/floods/34678.aspx?type=Regionamp;term=WalesNatural Resources Wales/a are monitoring sea surge, wind and waves as it could lead to further alerts being issued and possibly tidal flood warnings./p#13; pThe Britannia Bridge over to Anglesey has a 30mph speed limit. /p#13; pOn the M48 there are speed restrictions on the old Severn bridge with one lane currently closed. In Pembrokeshire, the Cleddau Bridge was closed after an earlier closure to high-sided vehicles./p#13; pA 50mph limit was also set on the M4's Briton Ferry bridge./p#13; pA fallen tree has blocked the A473 at Park Street in Bridgend, with police saying it was likely to be blocked near Glan-Y-Parc for some time./p#13; pMore falling trees were blocking the A48 at St Nicholas in the Vale of Glamorgan and the A4139 at Bush Hill in Pembroke. /p#13; pSwansea coastguard said it had advised two people to get off the pier at Porthcawl, Bridgend county, due to the waves breaking over it.
